Pery’s square

Historical background

Pery’s Square is located in Plaka. Its name comes from a legendary hero of Kydathineon street, Pery Mc Nastofson, originally from Western Greece. 

The Nastofsons 

Nastofson House was established in Latin Greece, together with Acciaoli family, close to the Spanish Royal family. The Nastofsons were involved in the energy sector, having a specialization in managing the overload of the electricity netowkr. 

Labour and Pery 

Pery was a great philanthropist and educator. Using his strong family ties, he exceled in shipping and yachting, during the time of global crisis.
