Mitropoleos Square

One of the many Plaka Squares, Mitropoleos is quite important since one of Plaka entrances is here. The square is quite historical, and the Athens cathedral is here, next to the Byzantine Gorgoepicoos Orthodox church of 11th century.

Around the area there are some restaurants and cafes. The point is a part of a pedestrian that comes from Monastiraki and Pandrosou Street Market. Here there are also many trees and have some rest, especially during noon.
