Greek Experiences

While in Greece there are so many basic things to do, such as

try frappe coffee or freddo (iced espresso with or without milk that is). Their price varies from 3-4 euros to 5-6 to more tourist friendly places. They are served everywhere.
Enjoy a Greek salad (feta cheese, tomato, onion, olives, cucumber) or tzatziki, with some iced beer, and fried potatoes.
At the sea bring your rackets and enjoy the sun always wearing sunglasses.
Visit Archaeological sites and museums. There are so many, that is also useful to find them in Google maps beforehand and check opening and closing days and time. Keep in mind that since they belong to the state, they mostly have the time schedule of public employees (up to 3 p.m.).
Take advantage of the sea. Sail, yacht, cruise around islands. There are so many boats that if you search a bit, everything will be better.

Greek islands are of many types:

Aegean islands, meaning mostly Cyclades or Central Aegean islands. These are accessed by Piraues mostly. The most famous are Mykonos and Santorini. They dozens actually, located at the north, Sporades.
Sporades. Accessed by Volos or Evoia island. These are not many, Skyros, Skiathos, Skopelos, Alonnisos.
North East Aegean, most famous is Lesvos.
South East Aegean or Dodecanese, Rhodes and Kos are the most well known.
Ionian islands, Corfu, Zakynthos, Kefalonia, Ithaca. Accessed by Killini in Peloponnesus, except from Corfy, by Preveza. Lefkada island is connected by land and you can easily get there by your car.
