Athens weather 

Athens weather has some variations, depending on the geography you will stay.  At the center of Athens, the weather temperature in calmer that the north and the south of the city. 

At the north, Kiffissia area is really cold during winter, but not that cold as most European capitals are! 

At the south, its windier, since Attica is a coastal area and there are many winds.

Athens airport is located at Spata, at northeast of Attica region, behind mountains Immitos and Penteli.

Athens has many ports, but the most prominent is Piraeus, from where most of the ships that go to Aegean – Cyclades, Dodecanese and Crete leave.
